Blanchard and Burrow bag Toyota final

Dubai: Daryl Blanchard (8) and Andy Burrow (4) scored a net 60.4 to win the Toyota Golf Day Grand Final at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Friday.

The format was 2 Player Scramble with 30% allowance of the combined handicaps.

The winning team's card contained nines of 35 and 29 having started on hole 4 in this shotgun format.

Highlights in the gross 64 round included 7 birdies , an eagle and a solitary dropped shot on hole 10. A finish of birdie and eagle on holes 2 and 3 sealed their 1.8 shot victory.

In the Mixed Couples Division Holly Burrow (8) kept up her recent winning form by partnering Ashley Anderson (14) to a net 63.4 and a 0.2 point victory with a gross 70.
