Kudos: Officials hail team effort

Dubai: Abdullah Saleh, the Al Wahda manager, was very pleased with the second win for his team in the league.

"Al Nasr are a tough team. It was not easy for us to beat them," said Saleh. He added: "It's true that we didn't perform well, but given the condition our team were passing throughly recently, the most important thing was to win points and advance to the top bracket," Saleh Said.

Salah Jalal, the Al Nasr senior team supervisor, also expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance. "We played very well and we deserved to win. We did everything, except scoring goals. Luck is still against us. Al Wahda played for just 10 minutes and were very lucky to score the winner. This is football and good luck to them," he said.
