Leaders Al Ain travel to third-place Al Nasr as second half of the season gets under way

Abu Dhabi: The second half of the Etisalat Pro League season kicks off tonight with three matches featuring teams either vying for the title or hoping to escape the relegation zone.

Second-place Al Jazira travel to Al Ahli, who lie seventh, in a clash which has developed into quite a rivalry over the years.

The bottom two meet as Dubai host Emirates, both teams in desperate need of points to avoid dropping down at the end of the season.

Leaders Al Ain face third-place Al Nasr tomorrow in the biggest game of the week, both teams with title aspirations.

Elsewhere, fourth meet fifth as Al Shabab travel to Al Wahda.

All sides are without UAE Olympic Team members, currently preparing for qualifiers for London 2012.

  • Dubai vs Emirates: 5.10pm.
  • Bani Yas vs Ajman: 5.15pm.
  • Al Ahli vs Al Jazira: 8pm.

Tomorrow:

  • Al Wahda vs Al Shabab: 5:15pm.
  • Sharjah vs Al Wasl: 5.10pm.
  • Al Nasr vs Al Ain: 8pm.
