etisalat to sponsor Abu Dhabi women's team

:Abu Dhabi: etisalat on Sunday announced they would support the Abu Dhabi women's soccer team. This is part of the company's strategy to support social institutions and non-profit organisations.

Sultan Al Dahiri, deputy general manager, etisalat, Abu Dhabi region, said: "We are pleased that our support for the Abu Dhabi women's team comes at the same time when we are announcing our partnership with the second Women's Abu Dhabi Championship for women's football."

Hessa Al Olama'a, board member and manager of the Abu Dhabi's women's team, said: "etisalat's support of our team highlights its vital role in social activities, which makes them a role model for other organisations to emulate.

"etisalat's cooperation with Abu Dhabi Sports Club will play a significant role in promoting all sports and championships held by the club, especially the second Abu Dhabi women's football championship.

"We hope that this game will achieve its goals in boosting women's football."
