Abu Dhabi: Dibba Fujairah were relegated from the Etisalat Pro-League to the amateur division on Saturday, following their 3-3 draw with Ajman, while Al Shaab stayed up after beating Al Shabab 2-1.

Meanwhile, newly promoted Sharjah have appointed ex-Al Jazira and Al Jazira coach Paulo Bonamigo as their new manager to replace the Egyptian Ayman Al Ramadi

Al Shaab, playing against the an Al Shabab second-string side, given their forthcoming President’s Cup Final against Al Ahli on Tuesday, took the lead in the 24th minute when Michel N’Dri led a fast counter-attacking move and passed to Nasir Khamis, who slotted home from inside the box.

N’Dri scored the winner in the 74th minute after Al Shabab levelled the scores with a beautiful goal from Manie Mohammad on 62 minutes.

In Ajman, the city team went 2-0 ahead through Founeke Cy and Idris Fettouhi, but Dibba came back strongly before the break to equalise thanks to goals from Alex and Khalil Abdulla.

Fettouhi scored again for Ajman in the second half and, although Alex struck again, it was not enough to keep his side in the Pro-League.
