Port of Spain, Trinidad: Bob Woolmer's body will be flown to Cape Town in South Africa after the post-mortem.
According to information, Woolmer's wife Gil has granted permission for the port-mortem to be conducted.
"The post-mortem will be done late today or tomorrow," said Mark Shields, Deputy Commissioner of Jamaican Police. However, it is doubtful whether the report will be made available to the media.
The cause of Woolmer's death, if there is no foul play involved, will be made known only to Woolmer's wife and it is left to her to make a statement if she wishes to.
The talk going around here is that Woolmer would have died due to a drug overdose or due to excessive drinking. Woolmer is a diabetic and of late has been suffering from breathing problems.
It is also being said that Woolmer was already dead when the hotel staff found him at 10.45am with blood and vomit on the walls.
What surprises everyone is that why Woolmer did not call for help as soon as he started vomiting. A team of medical experts have been posted in all the team hotels.
Shields said: "We treat all sudden deaths as suspicious until we can prove otherwise."
