Edinburgh: Scotland's cricket selectors have named an unchanged side for next month's Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean following a successful build-up in Kenya over the last few weeks.
The 15 players who originally set out on the five-week tour have been invited to travel to West Indies. "We went to Kenya with two aims, first to qualify for the Twenty20 World Championship and also to inflict a first defeat on the host country," said national team coach Peter Drinnen. "We achieved both these objectives."
The squad: John Blain, Dougie Brown, Gavin Hamilton, Majid Haq, Paul Hoffmann, Douglas Lockhart, Ross Lyons, Neil McCallum, Dewald Nel, Navdeep Poonia, Glenn Rogers, Colin Smith, Ryan Watson (vice-captain), Fraser Watts and Craig Wright (captain).
