"Mumbai Indians beating Delhi Daredevils is the icing on the cake," remarked Mohammad Lokhandwala, the convenor of the Dubai Cricket Council tournaments.

Lokhandwala has played with top Test players from Khar Gymkhana, Islam Gymkhana and won the Mumbai Inter Collegiate championship representing Siddharth College.

"The rivalry with Delhi is very old, starting from Ranji Trophy, and it is nice to see it in IPL too. A victory against Delhi is always special for Mumbaikars," he said.

"For the last two years, Mumbai Indians, despite having the big names in their team have struggled. This year we have started very well, and with Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard joining the attack the team looks really solid," he added.

Lokhandwala feels Mumbai will have to continue their form if they are to win the IPL. "Mumbai is lucky to have Sachin Tendulkar as their captain. He's the most experienced player in the world who has contributed the most to ... cricket. He's a once-in-a-lifetime cricketer and being able to play alongside [him] must be really inspiring ..." he said.

Lokhandwala wouldn't name Mumbai's strongest opponent. "It's too early to name a strong opponent. Kolkata Knight Riders look to be very strong, so I'm really looking forward to the Mumbai-Kolkata match on March 22."
