Dubai: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly is relishing the prospect of returning to compete at the Emirates Airline Twenty20 in Dubai next week.

Ganguly has been included in a star-studded MCC side for the event taking place at the Sevens Stadium next Friday.

"It is an honour and a pleasure to represent MCC again, and I look forward to coming back to Dubai for another competitive day of professional cricket in the Emirates Airline Twenty20," said Ganguly, who also played in the event last year. Ganguly will be joined in the side by recently-retired former India teammate Rahul Dravid, as well as ex-England batsman Mark Ramprakash and Pakistani Rana Naved.

The MCC will be taking on 2011 English County Championship winners Lancashire, plus Durham, Sussex and Fly Emirates XI.

Other star players include Steve Harmison, Graham Onions, Michael Yardy and Glen Chapple.

Tickets, available from the stadium, cost Dh25, with accompanied children under-12 free.
