Dubai cricket stadium to be ready by October 2008

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) gave their stamp of approval to the Dubai Cricket Stadium and the ICC Global Academy on Wednesday.

Ray Mali, the President of the ICC, David Morgan, the ICC president in the waiting, former president Ehsan Mani and Malcolm Speed, the ICC executive visited the stadium and academy premises to observe the progress.

The stadium will be ready for action by October 2008 and the global academy will be operational from December 2008.
