Chennai & Bangalore: Pacing their chase to near-perfection, Chennai Super Kings strolled to their third consecutive win, drubbing Kolkata Knight Riders by nine wickets in the Indian Premier League in Chennai on Saturday.

After Jacob Oram's three-wicket haul restricted Knight Riders to 147 for 9, the Super Kings, thanks to Matthew Hayden's second successive half-century, cruised to a victory that put them on top of the IPL leaderboard with six points.

In another match played in Bangalore last night, Bangalore Royal Challengers continued with their poor form as they went down to Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets.

Chasing a target of 135, Rajasthan Royals romped home comfortably in 17.1 overs, making 138 with Shane Watson scoring an unbeaten 61.

The Super Kings batted sensibly taking no risks whatsoever and romped home with ease.

Hayden, who had made 81 in the previous game against Mumbai Indians, put on 66 for the first wicket with Parthiv Patel.
