Dubai: The Indian cricket team coach Greg Chappell is enjoying a holiday in a lake-resort of Kerala before the World Cup.

Chappell and his wife have been staying in a house boat in the Punnamada lake for the last two days. He was told about this beautiful place in the land of God's Own Country by Indian pacer Sreesanth.

It is understood that Sreesanth arranged for their stay through one of his friends who owns Rainbow Cruises.

Chappell sneaked quietly into the resort for a much needed break before the World Cup. However, he was identified by a cricket loving autorickshaw driver.

Chappell and his wife came out of the backwaters to do some shopping in the Alappuzha city. They hired an autorickshaw to return to the boat and the auto driver recognised him and told his friends.

Soon a huge crowd gathered and Chappell quickly returned to the lake boat. Chappell falls under top security bracket and hearing the news, police rushed to the resort to provide him security.
