Dubai: Controversial Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Asif may face an inquiry by the Pakistan Cricket (PCB) before being cleared to play in the Asia Cup which commences on June 24.
Speaking to Gulf News on Thursday Shafqat Naghmi, the Chief Operating Officer said, "We will have to study the case before passing a judgement."
Asif's name does not figure in the Pakistan team list released by the PCB on Thursday.
