The UAE island has been rightly nominated among the finalists for the seven wonders

The nomination of Bu Tinah to be listed as one of the seven wonders of the world is of great importance not only for the UAE, but also for conservation of nature and the protection of the environment. Bu Tinah is an island located 130 kilometres west of Abu Dhabi and has recently become one of the 28 finalists from a list of 447 sites in 224 countries.
The Environment Agency, Abu Dhabi (EAD) has endorsed the nomination and launched a campaign to encourage the public to cast their vote in favour of the nomination. "Bu Tinah is a unique global natural wonder. Its value to mankind is very clear and we are extremely proud that it belongs to the Arab world", said Majid Al Mansouri, Secretary General of EAD. Surely, Bu Tinah deserves the full support of the public to become one of the seven wonders of the world.
