A helping hand in times of need

The setting up of the Road Accident Victim's Fund by the Dubai Police in association with the International Association for Human Values is an innovative idea that is welcomed as much as it is necessary.

The idea, according to Dubai Police, comes in line with the United Nations Road Safety Week. The fund aims to provide help and assistance to victims of road accidents and in some cases, to their families as well. There are also free workshops and programmes that aim to help drivers on how to avoid stress as much as accidents.

The step taken to organise this fund is surely new and would be helpful especially when victims fall short of meeting the demands of the high cost of medical treatment.
