Car will be available in a variety of body styles including a five-door Sportback

Of late, Audi has been so busy with niche plundering and facelifts that it has put off the launch of the all-new A3 that you see here until late next year.
The upcoming A3 will be available in a variety of body styles including a five-door Sportback, a three-door and for the first time, a saloon.
On the propulsion front as many as six different powertrains are said to be on the cards, including plug-in hybrid and electric options. Enticingly, rumours of a high-riding, all wheel drive Allroad version are also doing the rounds.
The newcomer will likely be based on the Golf, rather than the firm’s latest modular platform design. Predictably, the new A3 will be bigger and arrive in showrooms wearing a Christmas-tree worth of LEDs.
