Biggest change is in the rear end with totally new lights slightly disguised

If you’ve already seen the Honda Civic above, and you can’t have missed it, then you may be experiencing some déjà vu right now. No, this isn’t a coupé Civic, but it is the new Porsche 991, which as you can see looks exactly like the old 997. Do Porsche and Honda share the same design consultancy firm?
Two months before the car’s official global debut in Frankfurt, Porsche has showed off most of the next 911’s finished goods.
The latest pics, taken by our spy on the streets of Stuttgart, reveal the 991 flashing its 100mm longer wheelbase — for better engine placement and more interior room — wider front and rear ends, and some updated character lines. The biggest change is in the rear end with totally new lights slightly disguised, but the finished tails will be angular and thin. The front looks the same though, with Boxster-inspired air intakes.
