New Peugeot 308 arrives in UAE

Dubai: Swaidan Trading, the sole distributor for Peugeot cars and light commercial vehicles in Dubai & the northern emirates, has revealed the all-new Peugeot 308, a full-sized family hatchback with the latest technology features.

The addition of the 308 comes just weeks after the highly successful launch of the all-new 207 range, which has already achieved a 'best in class status' in Europe and completes the Peugeot Middle East model lineup for 2008.

The new 308 will have its first public viewing in the Middle East region at the Middle East International Motor Show along with the 206, 207, 307, 407, 607 and LCV ranges.

"Swaidan Trading has seen substantial growth in the last few years with the Peugeot brand and have also made equally substantial investments," Samar Roy, group managing director of Al Naboudah Commercial Group, said in a statement.

"The opening of our new purpose-built showroom and after-sales facility in Sharjah is testament to our commitment to Peugeot and our customers. The new model lineup is another exciting leap forward for us all," he said.

Peugeot will be present at the 9th Middle East International Motor Show 2007 as in the past years, in Hall 1 stand 1B, manned by the Swaidan / Peugeot team.

The other attractions will include the 207 Spider Race Car and a W.R.C simulator competition.
