New Maserati Quattroporte spotted

Our spy, who shall remain unnamed for fear of his life, has sneaked us photos of the upcoming Maserati Quattroporte replacement before, but we scolded him.

The images showed only Quattroporte mules in Scandinavia we weren’t really interested in seeing, so we shoved him back into the field and he returned with this.

The latest shots show off the first sightings of the new grand Maser, scheduled to shed its camouflage and enter showrooms in 2014.

Our spy reports the lines and dimensions are very similar to the Porsche Panamera, indicating we should be worried, and he adds that only the rear window is a fake.

So expect a profile very similar to the one in these shots once the little Maser gets ready to do battle with Jaguar’s XJ, Porsche’s Panamera, and BMW’s 6 Series Gran Coupe.
