This luxurious riad, situated in the best part of the old town of Marrakech, is a fascinating example of blending modern and historical features. It is situated in Marrakech's neighbourhood of Dar el Bacha, in the heart of the ancient city, a unique and quiet area.

The three-storey villa, built in 2003, is surrounded by a lavish park-like garden of about half an acre. Walkways lined with tropical plants and fish ponds shaded by lush greenery lead to the entrance of the mansion.

Beginning with the grand entrance hall, the floor plan flows gracefully. The use of an original Oriental design throughout creates an ornate impression. The 2,712-square-metre interior features high ceilings, picture windows that flood the home with natural light and a huge gourmet kitchen with centre island, stainless-steel appliances, a walk-in pantry and a large formal dining room. The dramatic living room is dominated by a fireplace. There are nine bedrooms and 14 baths (including three hammams). The master suite has dual baths,a fireplace, sitting area and walk-in closets.

The ground floor's massive indoor pool is also worth mentioning. Drenched in sunlight, the pool space includes a living area that is simply perfect for entertaining.

The richly ornamented stairs and thestate-of-the-art elevator can easily transport residents to the second floor, the most secluded part of the house.

All rooms feature French doors and large windows opening onto individual courtyards filled with rose gardens and fountains.

Looking at one of the many courtyards, you would not believe this beautiful property is located in theteeming Moroccan city of Marrakesh. This hideaway villa is certainly aptly-named.
The indoor pool looks like something out of an Arabian Nights story.
