Parents should be more vigilant

Gulf News reader Hayzam Sherif sent this Twitpic through Twitter from his apartment in Dubai.

 He said: ‘The girl in the picture is actually my friend’s sister and she always comes out on the balcony. But in this instance she was leaning on the railing to look down. If she slips and falls down, it would be the mistake of the parents as this is due to their irresponsibility. I also heard that she was going to fall once, but her brother saved her. The parents should be more responsible. They should lock the balconies and be more careful. Children need to be taken care of.’
