1.Bram Stoker's Dracula !! OOh it still gives me the jitters !!2.The Monkey's Paw although not from the horror genre, it still has scary moments when the cadaver of the son returns to meet his mother...well that's an eerie and weird feeling ....something similar to the plot in the pet cemetery. And last but never ever the least, 3.Hound Of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle... WOW the list stretches to infinity....

I tried 3 times to watch 'The Grudge' (at night of course) but I couldn't last 20 minutes. Well, I'm not sure yet if it's my favourite horror movie but I will keep on trying till I finally watch it...

I think Dracula by Bram Stoker is scary. Read those diary passages alone at night...

What really does it for me is psychological thrillers, and in that genre Stephen King's The Shining tops the list. More so because it is about a child who can see the dead and is terrified by it! This topic has been done to death by too many writers, but King's narrative style and his understanding of the human mind makes this book so special. I have read all of his books - even those that he has written under the pen name of Richard Bachman. The man truly knows how to tap into that eerie place inside your subconscious and draw you in.

I have a serious clown phobia, so Stephen King's novel IT really gave me nightmares. I felt that he had somehow read the darkest part of my mind.

Horror stories? No, they don't make me feel scared or horrified. I do enjoy reading them but they fail to drive me crazy. Books like RL Stine, Goosebumps, Nightmare Room etc are cool and enjoyable.
