Why do you choose to live in a dorm?
Notes asks students in the UAE why they have chosen to live in a dorm and what, to them, is the biggest disadvantage of living alone.
Here's what they said:
You get to socialise with a lot of people and make very close friends. You become that much closer than if you were living off campus.

It teaches you to do things independently from your laundry to cooking and making friends. Interacting with different cultures is also a plus.

"There are many disadvantages. There is no one to take care of you like at home, and you can't share your emotions."

"I would have to say the biggest disadvantage is that you waste a lot of time with friends and it's easy to get distracted." Bassam Akl
