So this last week has had its ups and downs...

During the workouts, I have achieved some real progress and hit some personal goals. I tried my first cardio kickboxing session which was super tough but incredible and I loved it! I have also done two Friday morning sessions, which have totally changed my weekends, in a remarkably positive way - and I won't be letting that habit slide!
So whilst the fitness is going really well for me, I have been struggling with the nutrition. Last Thursday I had my half-way 'weigh-in'. This isn't just about the KGs lost but also about body measurements and BMI and body fat percentage calculations. I was quite disappointed not to see any significant change in the actual measurements so left feeling dejected. Thankfully once Fiona had followed up with me and the calculations, there are certainly some changes in the numbers there so that was a relief! The main point we talked about was my eating habits. So far during the challenge I have changed some bad habits, introduced a few new good ones, but there is still a lot of work to do. So moving forward I am taking some really big steps and making really big changes, rather than small tweaks. I think I will continue to find it difficult but I’m actually looking forward to trying this different way of eating.
Lastly but most importantly, I had my first 1:1 life coaching session last week where we went through the process of 'removing unprocessed emotions'. The beginning of the process was quite difficult, but as we went through it several times it became much smoother. I think it took me a couple of days to notice the difference in how I felt but it was really refreshing. I have my second session tomorrow during which we deal with my 'limiting beliefs', so I am interested to see how that goes. I have spent all week pin-pointing what I think these 'limiting beliefs' are, so I feel ready to tackle them.
