The progressive jock is one of the hottest properties around right now due to his genre-busting sets that have rocked dance floors around the world. Expect a large dollop of twisted house, disco, electro and even some cheeky breaks. Recommended.

DJ Fresh @ The Apartment
The South African spinner will be joined by some of Dubai's finest spinners ? Charl Chaka, Kennedy and Ali Ajami ? for a night of deep house. The Apartment can be hit and miss so let's hope this one kicks off.

Felix Da Housecat @ Trilogy
The Chicago spinner likes to take house music and drag it down a twisted, dark route with the result being the perfect soundtrack to a messy night out. One of the best in the business, Felix is well worth a look.

DJ Dan @ Peppermint
A mainstay of the US 'rave' scene through the Nineties, Dan has garnered worldwide attention due to his choice of tunes and impeccable mixing. Expect a night of tough funky techno that is sure to drive the Peppermint faithful wild.

Audio Tonic Live @ 360
The last Audio Tonic/Revolve bash of the summer sees the launch of their CD courtesy of the excellent MrMr and the omnipresent Pierre Ravan. If you can stand the heat, this should be one of the gigs of the weekend.
 
Carneval @ Malecon
Cuba meets Brazil as the Carneval hits Dubai for a night of all things samba. Expect plenty of afro-funk, samba beats and bikini-clad revellers as Dubai's clubbers inject a little southern hemisphere funk into their lives.

Adam Freeland ? Global Underground 32 (GU)
The breaks don shows just why he is so highly rated with a set that takes in breaks, house, electro and even indie and illustrates what a proper mix CD should sound like. Top class and a return to form for the Global Underground imprint.

Café Mambo Vol 4
The Ibizan chill out staple returns for a fourth installment and more of the same quality horizontal beatage. You don't have to be sipping a long drink watching the sunset to enjoy this, but it sure would help.
