The R-S is expected to make its debut early next year possibly as a 2015 model

It was just a few weeks ago at the New York auto show that the 2014 Range Rover Sport was officially launched. But it seems Land Rover is not content with what it has achieved with the new Sport Supercharged as it’s already testing a more potent new model around the Nürburgring.
Likely to be badged R-S in line with sister brand Jaguar’s naming convention, this new model is expected to add more power and sharper dynamics to the Range Rover Sport’s already impressive list of abilities. Looking at the spyshots, you can see that it’s got a sleeker, hunkered-down stance for reduced drag, with the lower front bumper and deep air intakes up front aiding aerodynamics further.
Meanwhile, the R-S’s massive alloy wheels appear to conceal a set of larger brake discs for greater stopping power.
