Just Another Man In The Crowd

Tingling thoughts erupted in my mind,
Mingling ideas, like of a child.
Felt like everything I did,
Raised my parent's pride.
They love when I move by their side.
Felt like no one else in this world
Is like me,
The best chaff.
The one who gives his parents the best laugh.
Then something ran in my mind
And I closed my manly eyes
And saw this world with a free sight.
I agonise,
Millions doing the same.
Protecting their parents from shame.
In their parents' eyes, they're being a gem,
Doing everything they could do for them.
I felt everything I do is much less than someone else in this world.
Felt the same shame
No matter how much I did to make my parents proud
This is when I realised,
I'm just another man in the crowd
Thought of an eternal mind
Eternal soul of mine
Prognosticated an eternal life
Then, I closed my manly eyes
And saw this world with a free sight
I agonise
The back of destiny never bends
Systems of luck never mend
Every soul has the same beginning of birth
And every soul has the same death for its end.
Someday I will also be covered with a shroud
This is when I realised...
I'm just another man in the crowd
Strolling relentlessly down a street
Brow raised high with pride
Walking so proudly as if no one is by my side

Feels like I'm glowing
Among the bunch of people on the street
Seems like I'm exceptionally so unique
And everyone roaming around is bleak.
Then
I closed my manly eyes and saw the world with a free sight
I agonise
I'm just like a roving beetle
In a hovering herd
Just like a bird ...
My pride shattered
Arrogance ruined

I'm just another man in the crowd
Now I wander with tears in my eyes
Crying for my pride's demise
Running and shrieking aloud
Searching for a quality that could make me proud

Hard to seek something within me
That everyone else in the world will see.
I tried
To close both my eyes

Took a deep breath and meditated to find
With what I'm endowed
Then I realised
Anyways, I will always be another man in the crowd......
