The traditional Thai festival of floating bowls, celebrated to bring good luck, has inspired the November menu at Taste Thai Restaurant in Le Méridien Al Aqah. To celebrate Loy Krathong, the Thai chef de cuisine, Praiwan Sriplai, has created a menu called "Khan Tok", priced at Dh360 for two. Khan Tok features a combination of salad, curry, rice and vegetable served together in a basket tray. The offer will be available from November 1-15.

Swaad Restaurant, on the other hand, will recreate the magic of India's Mogul era with a tempting Mughlai selection. Starting from Dh40, the spread includes shorbas, kebabs, curries, pulaos and desserts.

Swaad and Taste Thai Restaurant are both open daily for dinner from 7-10.30pm.

The Views restaurant continues its international evenings throughout November. Starting from 7pm, diners can choose from Festa Italiana on Saturdays, Asian Breeze on Sundays, Tour de France on Mondays, Locavores on Tuesdays and Mexicana on Wednesdays — all priced at Dh175 and including a refreshing selection of beverages. The Thursday menu, Taste of Arabia, and the Friday menu, Sea View, are priced at Dh215 per person.

The Views restaurant is also offering a Friday lunch from 12.30-3.30pm, priced at Dh199, including pool and beach access.

Gonu Bar and Grill, on the shores of the resort's private beach, is open daily, offering lunch from noon-5pm and dinner from 7pm-midnight. The chefs can also make arrangements for a dinner under the skies, priced at Dh800 per couple and including special beverages.

And for more private dining options, hotel guests can also opt for the comfort and privacy of their own rooms through the 24-hour In Room Dining service, which offers a range of international cuisines.

Astro's, the bar on the 20th floor with a spectacular view of the Hajjar Mountains and the Indian Ocean, is an ideal venue for after-work beverages. Astro's is open 7pm-1am, Saturday-Wednesday, and 7pm-2am Thursdays and Fridays. Happy hours 9-10pm daily.

Tea & Dates, the hotel's stylish lobby lounge, offers an assortment of pastries, fresh croissants, sandwiches, salads, dates and cakes, complemented by the finest hot and cold beverages, including a signature coffee menu. The lounge is open daily 10am-10pm on weekdays and 10am-11pm on weekends.
