Bipasha Basu in Dubai next week

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu will be dabbling in diamonds and fashion next week as she jets down to Dubai for two separate events.

Next Sunday, Basu will be at Dubai Mall at 5pm to launch Gitanjali outlet at Paris Gallery (level 1). Basu, who is the brand ambassador for Gili diamonds for Gitanjali, will meet her fans for an informal interaction. She will then head to Gold Souq to visit the Gitanjali store in that area.

The next day, her agenda is to walk the ramp for Indian designer Archana Kocchar, who’s stocked at the local boutique Label 24. The Aatma star will be the show-stopper for Kocchar at a fashion show at Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm.

Actress Chitrangada Singh last week pulled out of the same show due to “family issues”. Singh’s personal life has come under intense scrutiny after her joint appearance with her golfer husband of seven years at Gurgaon court triggered rumours that the couple had filed for mutual consent divorce.

“Bipasha is the perfect choice because she is extremely stylish and is effortlessly chic. With her modelling experience behind her, she’s great on the catwalk,” confirmed organiser Aanya Agarwal, managing director of Chocolate Entertainment.
