Bipasha Basu asked her spot boy to call for a cab after she was done with the awards.

The actress, who walked the ramp on Friday night and rehearsed for the first time for her event on Saturday morning for the evening show, was so spaced out that she forgot that she was staying at The Venetian, which was hosting the event.

And who said ex- lovers cannot be good friends? Seeing Bipasha and Dino Morea chat away like old friends certainly brought a smile to everyone's lips.

tabloid! caught up with gorgeous Bipasha Basu after she was honoured with the Bollywood Style Icon awards at the IIFA.

Is the style award a consolation prize for not winning the best actress award ?

Absolutely not. I was never expecting an award for Race. I performed well, but the performances of other actresses were far better.

As for this award, I am happy that the work put in by my hairdresser Madhuri has been recognised. Rocky S has gone through a lot of trouble to dress me up with the latest outfits and I am proud of any award that I get, as it reflects my achievement.

You decided to perform at the IIFAs at the last minute. How well were you prepared?

Frankly, I did not practice until the morning of the show. As I was in Goa, I could not learn the steps. But as I was dancing to most of my songs from Aa Dekhen Zaara and just one song, Bounce It, from Dostana, it was not very tough. I love dancing and can train very fast.

The Venetian is famous for its shopping arcade. Have you stepped out to shop?

I love shopping. I headed straight for the boutiques. I was shocked to learn that there are 330 branded showrooms inside one hotel.

I have picked up two shades, several bags and shoes and lots of clothes. I like to work hard and shop hard too.

So what's next on the platter for Bipasha Basu fans?

There will be a mixed bag of goodies from me this year. My first release will be Rahul Dholakia's Lamhaa, which is a hard hitting film as it represents the current situation in Kashmir.

Next will be a small budget film called Pankh, where I play an imaginary character. After that will be a comedy, Rohit Shetty's All The Best - Fun Unlimited.

I was shooting for that in Goa before I came to Macau. And I am also doing a Bengali film where I play the role of a bored housewife.

So there is a lot of stuff for my fans this year.
