Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will move into a new place in a high-rise in front of the Bachchans' residence Jalsa in Juhu after their marriage on Sunday.

The apartment, owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, is a temporary arrangement as the couple's dream nest isn't ready yet. Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's interior designer wife Suzzanne is busy doing up their house in Juhu; they will move into their own home in February or March.

The actress is happy that Raj has decided to move his base from London to Mumbai.

"Shilpa is really, really happy about that Raj Kundra is shifting permanently to Mumbai after marriage.

Impractical

"The thought of a long-distance marriage was killing Shilpa. She knew it would be impractical. At the same time she would've been left with no choice if Raj had insisted on being Britain-based," said one of Shetty's friends.

Soon after the wedding, Shilpa and Raj will leave for the Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati and then to the Oneness University in Chennai to take the blessings of Shetty's spiritual guru Sri Amma.

"It was Sri Amma who had predicted that Shetty will get married this year. She almost did earlier this year. Now it's finally happening," said the friend.

Shetty met Raj after winning the British reality show Big Brother in 2007.

OK, it's finally official, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are engaged. Unlike most celebrity couples these two took time out from the ceremonies to share their happy moment with the media. We wonder if the others will take a cue?
