In the latest Bollywood crime thriller, Right Yaaa Wrong (RYW), Ajay Sridhar (Deol) is a brave and honest cop who is an idol of the media and well-liked by his colleagues. He is impulsive and believes in giving criminals a second chance so that they can reform.
Ajay's close friend Vinay Patnaik (Khan) who is a tough cop, differs radically from Ajay as he is rational and calculative in tackling crime.
One day Vinay comes to learn that Ajay is plotting to kill him, which leads to a game of hide and seek.
RYW has been produced by Subhash Ghai but his first-time collaboration with Deol in this movie hardly evoked any enthusiasm as Deol hasn't been in good form because of a back injury.
So the film relies on Khan and Sharma, who tasted big success with New York and Wake Up Sid respectively last year. "I have always chosen projects based on scripts and the character I play in the film," says Khan.
Sharma is known to be selective about her roles and many believe that if she is part of a film then there must be something worthwhile in the script. "In RYW I play a lawyer who stands by Sunny Deol's character in the court trial even at the cost of a rift with her brother [Khan]," says Sharma.
