London: The quest for a rainbow family continues for Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie who is reportedly set to adopt another baby from Syria - but without partner Brad Pitt.

Mail Online reports that Jolie, 34, is planning to head to the Middle East to adopt a girl after three previous adoptions from Africa and Asia.

However, it is claimed that Pitt, 45, is not keen on another new addition to his family with Jolie. The couple have six children.

The Tomb Raider star adopted son Maddox from Cambodia while still married to actor Billy Bob Thornton.

A spokesman for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Washington, DC said that 'only [Angelina's] name [was] on the [adoption] papers', reported the Mail.

Meanwhile, Angelina's father Jon Voight has confirmed that he has reconciled with his famous daughter.

The 70-year-old admitted that he and Jolie have got back in touch after they fell out in 2001.

The father-daughter duo fell out in 2001 after Voight appeared on TV and appeared emotional as he asked her to get help for her 'serious mental problems'.

Jolie's jealousy about Aniston, 40, has always been hard for Pitt to fathom particularly as Jolie is still close to both her ex-husbands.
