A buoyant tourism market has increased Dubai-based Net Tours's revenues by 50 per cent last year.

The upward trend is continuing this year and the company expects up to 25 per cent growth for this year, said Jean Jacques, Net Tours's marketing director.

Net Tours is one of the largest and oldest destination management companies in Dubai, specialising in inbound and outbound tourism.

Jacques outlined the company's strategies and expansion plans at a press conference on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market 2005, which will end today at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Impact

The increased revenues helped the company to upgrade and expand its services.

"We increased our staff by 25 per cent last year and by the end of this year we will have 175 employees," he said.

The company added 15 new Land Cruisers and six new 50-seat coaches to their fleet of tour vehicles.
