The end of Campaign Middle East?

Dubai: Campaign Middle East, a weekly magazine for the advertising and communications industry in the region, will not be published on Sunday February 11 according to a company spokesman.

It is not yet understood why the magazine, which is produced by ITP, has been pulled from the shelves and the company refused to comment on the decision or confirm or deny whether or not it will be published next week.

Campaign staff are still taking their seats each morning and the spokes-man confirmed they are all still on the payroll.

London-based publishers Haymarket, the company which produces Campaign UK and holds the licence for Campaign Middle East, said it was perplexed as it had received nothing in writing from ITP.

Haymarket licencing director Tim Bulley said: "We have had no notification from ITP which would suggest they wanted to make any changes to our licencing agreement. We can comment no further."
