Dubai: Sweet Homes, a UAE-based developer and property services provider, said it will develop a Dh600-million hotel and serviced apartments complex within Ajman Uptown, a Dh3-billion community coming up in Ajman.

The developer said it is negotiating with leading hotel operators to manage the five-star hotel and luxury residential complex.

The move follows the recent launch of seven commercial and residential towers, collectively valued at Dh1.3 billion, within the high-profile master development.

Set to offer world-class rest and relaxation services to international and local tourists, the hotel will have 184 rooms, including 40 luxury suites.

With a total built-up area of 223,395 square feet, the hotel aims at offering quality services. The standard rooms range from 364 square feet to 430 square feet, and the luxury suites 563 square feet to 729 square feet.

"As our flagship project, we have envisioned Ajman Uptown as a world-class community that will encompass all the elements of a thriving social community that can support the growth of individuals and organisations," said Fahad Sattar Dero, the chief executive officer of the Sweet Homes group.

"We are talking to several internationally reputed hotel operators who are very interested in the project and we will be announcing further details very soon," he said.

With a total built-up area of 548,719 square feet, the serviced apartments complex is set to offer 264 studios and 72 one-bedroom units.

The entire structure will include four floors of lavishly designed residential units and 654 parking spaces. Eight restaurants will offer various cuisines.

"With construction progressing rapidly on Ajman Uptown, we are confident that we will be able to hit the handover schedule we have promised our investors," Dero said.
