Dubai: Emirates Glass Limited (EGL) announced that it has cladded the third tallest telecommunication tower in the world.

The company wrapped the 435-metre Milad Telecom Tower in Tehran, Iran, with 8,000 square metres of EmiLam laminated and triple laminated glass.

EGL completed the contract before its due date. The aluminium contractor for the Milad project was Germany's Etzel while the main contractor was Iran's Yadman Sazeh.

Ziad Yazbeck, general manager, EGL, said: "Our products are preferred by leading architects who have worked on various high-rise towers. We are privileged to supply our products to such a unique landmark project."
