Emirates airline to build 5 towers for cabin crew at Dubai Silicon Oasis

Dubai: Dubai Silicon Oasis said on Wednesday it has signed an agreement with Emirates airline to develop five residential towers for the airline’s cabin crew.

As a part of the deal, Emirates will invest in building the towers across five assigned plots of land, adding residential capacity to the existing 570 Semmer Villas at DSO, for airline captains leased since 2005. The construction is set to begin in the third quarter of 2013, and the completed residences will accommodate approximately 2,000 of Emirates cabin crew team.
