Foreign investors pick up stocks worth Dh1.39b

Dubai: Dubai Financial Market announced on Saturday that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (October 26 - October 30) reached Dh1.39 billion comprising 35 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh1.628 billion comprising 41 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh235.2 million during the same period, as aggregate selling.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh689.4 million comprising 17.3 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh1.135 billion which constitutes 28.6 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

Net institutional investment on the market reached Dh445.9 million during the period as aggregate selling.
