Stockholm: Borse Dubai, which has bid $4.9 billion for stock exchange owner and operator OMX, said yesterday it would register a supplement to its bid after OMX published it full-year accounts last week.

A spokesman said the supplement was purely administrative. "We don't think there is any new information that could affect the value [of OMX]," he said.

"Yesterday OMX made public its Financial Report Year End 2007. As the report contains information that may affect the assessment of the offer, Borse Dubai will issue a supplement to its offer document," Borse Dubai said in a statement.

OMX shareholders will have a right to withdraw their acceptances of the offer during five business days from the registration and publication of the supplement.
