The airline will now be operating 17 flights to Amman and 35 flights to Doha in a week
Emirates will introduce an additional three services per week to Amman and one additional flight to Doha, effective 1st December. All additional flights will be serviced by the Airbus A330. The existing service of 197 flights per week to 14 Middle Eastern gateways will now be strengthened to 201.
Ahmed Khoory, Emirates' Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Gulf, Middle East & Iran said: “Despite the global downturn the Middle East continues to see positive growth across the aviation sector and continues to be one of our most important markets. The over 200 flights that we operate each week across the Middle East is a direct reflection of the regions intense expansion and development with Emirates well placed to capitalize on this growth.”
With this, the airline will be operating 17 flights to Amman and 35 flights to Doha, weekly.
The addition of these flights is the fourth significant capacity enhancement to Middle East services this year – in July Emirates added an additional 12 flights to Kuwait, Damascus, Sana'a, Amman and Doha.
