Dubai: Royal Jordanian launched its first regular nonstop flight between Amman and Kiev on Sunday.
RJ president/CEO Samer Majali said that the twice-weekly flight will service the active commercial movement between the two countries, as well as businessmen, students and tourists, and will stimulate relations between Jordan and Ukraine.
RJ will operate the Embraer 195 aircraft between the two cities, departing from Amman on Sundays and Wednesdays, and from Kiev on Mondays and Thursdays. The trip between Amman and Kiev lasts three and a half hours.
The oneworld member, RJ, is the first airline in the alliance to serve Kiev from the heart of the Middle East. oneworld airline members serve almost 700 airports in nearly 150 countries, with some 9,000 daily departures.
