Emirates to up flights to Colombo from June 30

Airline adds three more flights to meet rising demand

Dubai: Emirates said on Wednesday it will increase capacity on its services to Colombo starting June 30, 2013, with the addition of three more flights per week. The move will increase the number of flights between the two cities to four each day on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, taking the total number of weekly Emirates flights serving Colombo to 31, the carrier said in a statement. Emirates commenced services to Colombo in April 1986.
