Dubai Islamic Bank signs direct debit agreement with emaratech

Bank’s customers will be able to use payment gateway called noqodi by end of year

Dubai: Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has signed an agreement with emaratech, the leading Emirati technology and management consulting company, to facilitate electronic direct debit payments. Using noqodi, a payment gateway engineered and powered by emaratech, DIB customers will be able to set up direct debits to pay for a range of bills and services. This service is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2013.

Noqodi is a comprehensive payment gateway for companies and individuals to make online payments. To use the service, customers need to register at www.noqodi.com. Once registered, they will be able to make direct debit payments via DIB’s online banking service to pay for government services such as Emirates ID and visas among others.
