Abu Dhabi: A new game dubbed “Zayed The Leader” has been launched on Apple Store and Google Play Store by Emirati businessman Obaid Sagheer Al Qubaisi in support of the initiative “Express your love for UAE” launched last June by Lt-General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Al Qubaisi said that his contribution to developing and launching such a game is to express his deep love and loyalty for the UAE, its leadership and its founder the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan who had a long-term strategic thinking.
The Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme “I can” (Aqdar) has been selected to market and promote the game as it is completely consistent with its national document for student awareness, Al Qubaisi added.
“The game depends on understanding and recognising the history of establishing the UAE through the biography of the late Shaikh Zayed and his vision, determination and faith,” he further said.
The game, the businessman noted, involves historical information about Shaikh Zayed’s deeds and the challenges he faced along the path of building the country. The information is introduced in a very creative and exciting way that will attract the attention of students and young people.
