Who won in the second US presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton?

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that after Sunday’s second presidential debate and a leaked video of lewd comments that Donald Trump made regarding women in 2005, Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump among likely voters.

Gulf News asked its readers who they think won the second presidential debate. A majority 73 per cent voted for Hillary Clinton, while Trump got only 27 per cent.

The debate began with a question about whether the candidates believed they were modelling appropriate behaviour for today’s youth. As part of his answer, Trump dismissed his taped comments about women as nothing more than “locker room talk.”

At a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Thursday, US First Lady, Michelle Obama responded to the latest news of Trump’s treatment of women: “I can’t believe that I’m saying that”—she stopped, her voice catching—“a candidate for President of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women.” The video went viral on social media.

Do you think Trumps comments will affect his chances at winning the Presidential elections? Who you think will become the next US President? Share your thoughts on readers@gulfnews.com.
