Yes, as Dubai Culture’s flagship umbrella arts event, Dubai Art Season involves a two-month citywide activation of arts events. Season 2018 kicked off with the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature (till March 11) and Dubai Canvas which has returned for a fourth edition by transforming public spaces at La Mer into ‘open-air canvases’ for artists to display their work.
What are the highlights of the upcoming events?
Well, the main highlights include a performance by the Dubai World Orchestra at Dubai Opera on March 22, an LED screening of Burj Khalifa that provides a unique opportunity for emerging designers, light and 3D mapping artists who are part of the Creatopia community to showcase their work on the LED façade of the iconic landmark. How significant is the SIKKA Art Fair?
