ABU DHABI Emirates Palace will open its doors to the public for a unique culinary event called Flavours of the Palace on October 21.
The iconic hotel will be transformed into a gourmet wonderland as it showcases all its eight restaurants plus the pastry kitchen in one spot, giving guests a unique global gourmet experience.
The restaurants – La Vendome, Mezzaluna, BBQ Al Qasr, Hakkasan, Le Café, Mezlai, Sadaf and Havana – will have individual food stations where guests can sample signature dishes from each outlet’s menu.
The event will also see the master chefs behind these divine treats interacting with people, and giving out cooking tips.
Feast for everyone
“There is a myth that Emirates Palace is only for the super rich. We are trying to change that perception and offer Abu Dhabi residents a chance to experience the Flavours of the Palace without burning a hole in their pocket,” Carmine Pecoraro, Executive Sous Chef at the Emirates Palace, told XPRESS.
Pecoraro said guests will be offered bite-sized portions, allowing them to move through the stations and savour gourmet creations from all the kitchens of Emirates Palace.
There will be live cooking demonstrations where guests can interact one-on-one with each chef.
Entry fee per person is Dh150 (including service charge and tourism fee).
The ticket comes with fifteen Dh10 vouchers that guests can redeem at the various food stations.
Flavours of the Palace will be held from 7 to 11pm at the West Wing Gazebo, making the evening an al fresco feast in a luxurious setting befitting the Palace.
