Dubai: The University of Dubai recently launched the first and only PhD programme offered by a private university in Dubai which will benefit 15 local students.

The University has also aligned its business programmes with management qualifications from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) to become the first university outside the UK and the first university in the Middle East to offer ILM Level 5 and Level 7 certifications to its graduates in BBA Human Resources Management and MBA in Leadership and Human Resources Management.

As part of the LLM (Masters in Law) programme, the University has started teaching Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (ADR) courses and Financial Crimes and Money Laundering.

In another development, the University has signed an agreement with National Charity Schools to enhance cooperation.

With the signing of the agreement, all National Charity Schools’ alumni, teachers and administrators will benefit from a 20 per cent discount on tuition fees at the University of Dubai. The agreement will also help students choose the discipline they want to study and facilitate the transition of the students to the University.
