This year’s Gulf Bike Week — an annual celebration of motorcycle culture and music — will have two music stages focusing on local musicians. Fifteen acts will perform at the three-day event this autumn. The event is settling into its second year at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. The festival runs from October 30-November 1, 2014.
Names on the line-up include well-known UAE rockers The Boxtones, Nikotin, metalcore band Coat of Arms (due to perform some unreleased music, we are told) and U@ tribute act U2Gulf.
The line-up also includes:
Fat Randall (pop/punk); Riff Raff (rock); Daisygrim (alt-rock); Kicksound (rock); Core 304 (rock); Shamal (rock); Skreemin Egulz (a blues/rock biker band); When the Night Comes (hard rock); Benevolent (metal); Tartarus (black metal).
Other events at the festival include a bike parade and a custom bike competition.
Tickets are Dh65 in advance (Dh90 on the door), and give access to all bike events and shows.
